When my LO was sick with a stomach flu @ 14 or 15 months, he didn't want solids. He just wanted whole milk in a bottle (wouldn't drink out of sippy cup) and applesauce. He liked to be held while eating- I think he found it comforting. Hope your LO gets better soon.

Yup, I just keep trying to offer different things. Soup has always been a fail safe.

Yeah my son does this too - when he is sick some days he wants only milk and other days it's only solids. I usually offer stuff like banana, crackers, or soup. He almost always will eat soup when sick. When he's better again he eats like a horse for awhile. Get well soon, B!

My DS always loses his appetite when he's sick. He loses about 1 or 2 pounds when sick. Then he gains it back when he gets better. He always prefers his milk and doesn't eat too many solid foods when he's sick.

B has been sick all week and as a result he has lost interest in his solids and been taking more bottles. Have others gone through this? It's disappointing to make him a yummy lunch just to have him throw it on the floor. Should I still keep trying to give him solids? Or wait till he's better? LO is 11 months old.
