Elliot started doing that at around the same time. It got to the point at around 5 months where he would grab at the food or start making chewing motions with his mouth at he stared at us eating. We didn't start solids until 5.5 months. She still stalks me when I'm eating something she can't have. She STARES. Just fascinated!</p> <p>I told this to the Ped and he said we CAN start experimenting with solids, but don't need to yet (4.5 months)...He said her staring or being really interested in food doesn't mean she needs to start yet.</p> <p>Did or does your LO stalk your food? Did you start solids once they became food-aware? </p>
