We do enforce rest time via a toddler alarm clock daily, where he's free to either nap, read books, or play quietly in his room. My daughter, who is 14 months, still naps 2x a day, and I align her second nap with my son's rest time so that everyone can take a break in the afternoons. Literally my heart just skipped a beat because LO is 1.5 and I would not be able to handle her dropping her nap.</p> <p>I am dreading her dropping her nap because not only do I lose that time during the day but I imagine bedtime would move up. I was definitely not expecting that one. Every kid I knew in my family/friends circle had kids who napped well through 3 years old. My 15 month old still naps every day for a couple of hours.
