I think over the summer we might do swim lessons because she likes the water so much. DS (16mo) is going to start a soccer class when he's 18mo. Pretty young but he is completely sports-obsessed so it should be fun! This year she's 4 and going to school 5 days a week so we're only doing swimming right now which is 2 days a week. Soccer, ballet, skiing, swimming, and t-ball. We just finished Japanese so we are considering our next activity. Probably judo or dance. I also just signed her up for a dance class through our parks & rec. And she takes a gymnastics "class" at school. In the past she's also taken t-ball and another class where they tried different sports every week. We just dropped ballet/tap so that we could fit in tennis. She was getting bored in dance so it seems like the right choice so far. We did some gymnastics trials in the fall but we were just traveling too much and would have missed a lot of classes. We do have a pretty standard routine of activities when we aren't out of town, though. Monday we often go to to under 3 day at the children's museum and every Wednesday we go to my mom's group playdate. We usually go to the park at least once and story time at least once. It's been cold, but when it warms up, I want to do better about taking her to the zoo. And a playgroup organized by the public school system (also free). And now she does a drop off program at the local gym, which she loves and I actually pay for. LO 1 loves soccer and she always wants to reenroll when her current session ends. LO 2 tried a soccer class last summer but didn't seem to enjoy it so we didn't sign her up. We also go to the library for storytime and music classes!
