We made the mistake of trying to demonstrate how yummy something was by eating it ourselves. As soon as my son saw we would eat it, he started offering it to us since he didn't want to eat it. We now know better and let him make the decision to eat something or not. If he offers it, we say "no, thank you, that is for you to eat" and leave it at that.

LO always wants to 'share' her food. either with us or the dogs. so she'll offer us her food on her spoon. Kinda cute but I kinda wish she'd just eat it on her own without having to share. We're trying to encourage her to eat more solids so I guess we'll just keep going with it for now?
