Our favorite are the new Nuk Genius silicone ones. I think he will only Nuks since they are more "boob like" We started offering from about 3 weeks on. </p> <p>I went into parenting hoping he wouldn't become overly dependent on one- that we would only "plug him in" when we needed a few minutes of sanity, like driving or during a meal. It turns out that he is not a fan, sometimes I can fool him if he is sleepy enough. At 4 months we were needing to change sizes and introduced MAM 6+ months. That's all we use. It is handy for ending nursing sessions that I think he'd like to go on indefinitely otherwise. </p> <p>Also, I used to have luck getting him to take a paci at night instead of feed when he woke up, but no longer. He does eat like a horse at night, though.
