I got a 15 pack of suspender clips that I use with ribbon. Just replace the ribbon when it gets gross.

If so, is it nasty looking? Man I wash LO's pacifier clips in the dishwasher pretty often and they still look so gross. We already lose them when they are on the clips so I can't imagine trying to hunt one down before bed without a clip. Any tricks to getting them really clean or do you just replace often?
