Yup. That's why we can't use the CIO method for sleep training. :(

One time all his normal care takers had to do something. Long story. But we had to leave LO with my brother who he knows but never was alone with. We thought it would be okay since we would be gone max for 60 minutes. Turns out right after we left LO was very upset to be left alone with my brother and majorly threw up and my brother not having kids or ever baby sat LO didn't know what to do so we came home to LO in a different outfit way to big for him and a pile of clothes with a bunch of throw up. My brother changed LO a bunch of times. Rookie. :)

My LO doesn't but my nephew does. It doesn't seem to bother him too much though.

Sadly, yes. He'll cry so hard, he'll choke on the tears and snot and have a violent coughing fit which results to vomiting. :( Sometimes, we'll be lucky and he'll just have a coughing fit and some gagging, but no vomiting. That's why CIO is kind of hard for us right now. Can't really do it with him vomiting, but everyone tells us to leave the vomit and let him CIO. Say what?! Ew!! no.

Awwww poor baby! Sorry she had a rough time. I wonder why she is not liking your MIL? I only have/had 1 reliable and trusted babysitter, one of my sweet cousins....but she moved away a few months ago.

Back to your question though: No, I have not seen her get to that point yet. I am usually there (or DH) to settle her. We'll find out in a few months when she starts going to daycare.

I left LO 2 with MIL tonight and she threw up twice during fits of hysterical crying. MIL says she cried the entire time (1.5 hours) I was gone.

LO 2 can only tolerate MIL if LO 1 is around but doesn't like being alone with Grandma. I guess I need a new babysitter... :-(
