Yes!!! They take after their father. Grumpy in the morning. My oldest takes like 30 minutes to really wake up.

She used to wake up cranky but it doesn't happen very much anymore. She's usually super happy.

Yup. My son goes through those cranky phases once in a while. They usually last for about a week and then he's back to being his happy self. I don't get it at all. He gets a full night's rest (10-12) hours so I don't understand why he wakes up so cranky!

We dealt with it this weekend. Most of the time it was because she wasn't really awake and usually we just put her back down.

She used to wake up singing, but lately she has been SO cranky. For at least the first 20 min after she wakes up, she wants to be held, but we have to stay standing - if we try to sit, she'll start screaming....

She did just start walking so I don't know if there's something going on with her or if this is the new "her".

I don't know what's been going on with Charlie, but he's been waking up super duper cranky almost every day the past week. Sometimes he throws a tantrum and is inconsolable. Then afterwards he always apologizes and says he's sorry for being naughty. I know that when he's tantruming, it's hard for him to stop and he always feels remorseful after the fact.
