If he wakes up too soon from his nap, he will be very mean and unpleasant. It takes him at least half an hour to "wake up" and return to normal. I have learned to ask him if he needs more sleep if I see him act really cranky. She will roll around a little, sit up, then play. If I didn't have the monitor I'd have no idea she's up for awhile because she rarely makes any noise. </p>
