Both my boys like to have their milk right away (18m and 4y). DS2 likes to eat immediately after that, but DS1 usually wants to wait 20 min or so.

Nope. On the weekends we cuddle in bed and watch a show before she has breakfast, and I'm usually the one who has to bring it up. I'm the same way. I force myself to eat breakfast because I know I should, but I could totally skip it and be fine.

LO1 could care less about food, any time of the day. LO2 basically eats all day and it starts immediately after waking. We usually give LO2 a pre-breakfast snack like blueberries while we make their real breakfast.

She wakes up really hungry! I have to give her a pre breakfast snack while I make her breakfast. It's either dry cereal like Basic 4 or Chex or a yogurt pouch.

LO is almost two and basically comes downstairs every morning saying "cancakes? cancakes?" And flips out if her pancakes aren't ready immediately. :silly:

When lo wakes up, she comes into our room, I lift her onto our bed, and she snuggles for anywhere from 2-20 mins or so before saying "Mama, I want to eat"

I have one of each type of child. My oldest likes to wake up for bit before he's ready for breakfast. My youngest, on the other hand, wakes up and within minutes he's usually pulling me to the kitchen saying, "I'm hungry."

Is your LO ready to eat right away, or do they like to wait?
