It's low to the ground though and he has only fallen out 3 times in 2 years. The first two nights he fell out but landed on his former crib mattress that I had put next to the bed. He fell out randomly another time, but I think he must have had a bad dream or something. I moved him to the middle of the bed and stuck a pillow to the side just in case... because the bed has no railing (the other side of his bed is the wall though).</p> <p>He fell one night, and made a loud thump! Since then, I've been more careful - but no railing yet.</p> <p>Does your LO's bed have a bed rail? </p>
