With our current private sitter we just get a verbal report from her and DD about what they did but have asked her to give us a write up for DS, mainly when he eats and sleeps. Infant, toddler, and transitions (and pre-school though we aren't there yet) all give daily activity sheets. It includes meals, diaper/potty, activities, needs or upcoming needs, and sometimes photos. The other side of the sheet lists what they did for the day, what book they read, songs sang, art projects, motor skills, sign language, etc. I think that is more for the other kids in the class. They email me pictures almost every night, too.
