This winter she had back to back ear infections, like a month and a half later, so they asked us to come back to make sure the second antibiotic really cleared it up. Even now that he has tubes if he gets an infection they call in an antibiotic but then want to see us in ten days to see if it has cleared. Every time we have to pay a copay and it really adds up! When I have had a follow up appointment with my PCP - he didn't charge me. If it's an ongoing issue, or something that needs time to be checked again then we have follow ups. We took LO to urgent care last week and they said to follow up with her primary doctor in a week, but she is perfectly fine so it seems silly. Not sure if it's just what they tell everyone...but I'll probably just take her anyway, since they told me too it just really adds up! </p>
