I wanted to be able to use pieces in other places in our home and so far the crib is the only furniture item we bought. We have an eclectic vibe here but in a 1910 home it looks a little more formal than it sounds. Lots of layering, Pendelton fabrics all over the place. A fair amount of graphic stripes and tons of grey. We decorate with a mix of mid century modern and antiques. We don't like things that are super modern or super traditional or country, so we're directly in Transitional territory. And DS' room matches the same feel as the rest of the house.
