When we flew with him, as soon as I strapped him into the ergo, he'd fall right asleep. Sometimes he's too tired or fussy or whatever to nurse to sleep, so we plop him in the carrier (mesh baby k'tan at the moment) and bounce/walk around the backyard in the shade until he conks out. He likes the carrier a lot more now that he's older (5 months on Monday); I think he was at an awkward size for the mei tai for a while, and it got hot too soon here in TX to take him out in the Moby more than once or twice. He sounds like a dream!! DS is 5 months and he naps in our beco on our back, but not for very long. He used to nap in the ring sling, but lately he hasn't been. We don't use it for long periods that often. When we do he nearly always falls asleep. She's also used to sleeping in her crib or stroller, so I don't know if she'd fall asleep in the carrier. I'm thinking I may need to sleep train her to fall asleep in the carrier! It would make traveling a lot easier. How old is your LO and do they fall asleep in their carrier?
