He is completely terrified every time. They try to bribe him with treats. He takes them but then drops them on the floor. Our other dog is terrified and shakes and whines/yelps the entire time. She's the best, they love her and she's so friendly. Autumn (cat) hates the car and meows the entire time, but once she's at the vet, she is quite docile and easy to maneuver. We went through 3 vets who said they had all worked with feral cats, "difficult" cats, etc. but that our cat was the first that actually SCARED them. We finally found a vet that has a cat like ours, so she is fine with our sedated cat :( :(</p> <p>When our cat comes back from the vet, she is still under and out but will be growling loudly - while under the gas!!! The first vet said she never knew a cat could growl while completely sedated from the gas. They all loved him so much and gave him tons of attention and treats. When the rescue shelter that we got our new pup at called them for references they said the person at the vet's office raved about our dog. </p> <p>We've only taken our new pup to the vet once. She also seemed to like it. She lives for attention and belly rubs and she got lots of that.
