Wouldn't need a doctors note unless it was prescription. We each provide our own sunscreen and it stays in their cubbies to be applied throughout the day. No doctor's note needed, that's just silly. In our climate it's not a huge deal, but still... I doubt the medication one covers because we sign a separate one for diaper cream.
