I hate being in the office and hearing the TV on in the background... or even worse is when he has a movie on and when it's done playing, the menu screen will repeat itself. It annoys me so I have to get up and turn it off myself. I have complained but then he'll comment that I forget to turn the lights off when I leave a room. Actually all of our problems would be solved if the remote would work from the pass through, but it just barely doesn't. The thing that bothers me more is when he turns the volume way down on a show I'm watching or mutes the commercials and forgets to unmute when the show comes back on while I'm making dinner. The remote doesn't work from the kitchen (it's a pass-through and I can see the TV). Just this morning, he came downstairs to go back to bed and the television is still on. Now, I need to go back upstairs to shut it. Ah... the joys. I know it's not much... but even if I tell him it goes in one ear and out the other! </p>
