One of our daycare ladies would cut all of the kid's fingernails because they like when she did it. For about a year, we didn't have to. Then, she recently left and took a new job. She babysat for us recently. We felt like heels, but asked if she could cut his fingernails. He made a face and I asked him if he'd rather I held him and he cut the nails. He said "I've never done it before, and I don't want to hurt him!" I thought that was ridiculous, and of course he's cut his nails before...and then realized that no, in 18 months he has never cut E's nails! </p> <p>I should make him do it next time! </p>
