But if the hubs changes a poopy diaper or manages to keep her occupied for an afternoon, he feels he deserves a prize! I also don't expect anything. I know he appreciates me (especially because he had to spend a few days taking care of LO without my help when I couldn't hold her due to surgery, so he knows how tough it is!) and I appreciate him. But I don't think we should be thanked for things that we are just supposed to be doing.</p> <p>My dad is huge on thank you's. My mom does EVERYTHING around the house. Literally, everything. But if my dad does the dishes once a month he wants a thank you. And then he complains to me that my mom should have thanked him.
