@sarac: We do the exact opposite. DH is in bed an hour before me usually, but I'll get up when LO gets him up around 5. Sometimes I go back to bed, but not usually.

Yes, badly. He gets way more than me because he just needs less sleep than I do. Every night I'm asleep around 10 or 11 and he's always up until 1 or later. We get up together with our daughter at 6:30 most days.

Usually he gets his alone time early in the morning. He wakes at five, takes a shower, pops breakfast in the oven, starts his computer and surfs until breakfast is done. Then he eats and heads out the door at six. At night, I try to give him alone time (without the kids bothering him, at least) for a half hour to an hour. But by then, I need to be rescued!

DH leaves for work by 6:00-6:15 most days, and he picks LO up from daycare by 4:30. Most days he goes straight to daycare. Because of this, he seldom gets any personal time. Today he will have a few hours though. I'm hoping that he uses the time to go for a run because that always makes him feel better.

Does your SO get personal/alone time? Does he need it?
