My DH gets really, really stressed - he's the most highly strung person I've ever met, in fact. Work, home improvements, other road users, dropping things (him)... the slightest little thing can send him into a spin. He has an auto immune condition that flares up really badly in response to stress, too - so he makes himself ill by getting so wound up.

He gets stressed, but he doesn't really know it. He doesn't realize he is stressed, he just thinks something is physically wrong like he is getting sick, or it takes him reflecting back to realize I wasn't being as annoying as he thought at the time.

I'm the one who has meltdowns :)

Uh yes. He's a surgery resident and is a zombie when he gets home from work. He doesn't get stressed about stuff outside of work though whereas I do.

Yep, he is a total Gemini, one minute he's cool as a cucumber, the next minute the sky is falling. I think to do what he does (commission sales job) sometimes the highs and lows really work to his benefit.

Nah, I'm definitely the stressed one in our marriage. He's "shurgs his shoulders whatever go with the flow" to the point that it stresses me out--like when he can't find his wallet and shrugs his shoulders and says "eh, it'll turn up!" Makes.me.nuts.

DH is so calm and doesn't get rattled a lot which is the complete opposite of me. He tells me about his work issues and sometimes I am stressed out for him!
