We buy most of our food from Costco and so many times he'll leave a bag open overnight and then we have a HUGE bag of stale Cheerios or chips or cookies or something. I have a million chip clips everywhere but he just can't take the time to close the bag (let alone put the bag away and close the cabinet door. I always cook the meals and dish everything onto both of our plates. I always serve my husband first out of habit so he takes his plate and sits down and starts eating and then complains that I'm a slow eater. He's finally catching on to the idea that I'm not slow, he just starts 5 minutes before I do. He's usually half way through by the time I get drinks for both of us, fill his plate and mine, get napkins, silverware, etc. and sit down to eat.
