My DH's version of "whatever" is "spinach." Ummm, darling, spinach does not a meal make. Sigh.

He will if I ask. Especially on Sundays before I go to the grocery store. Most of the time I'm too lazy though and I just make the same things we usually have ;)

I get the "whatever" too!!! "I'll eat whatever." Then he complains when he sees it. Ugh.

I can't let him choose or he will be ridiculous. Sirloin, steak, etc. Not in the budget buddy!

I always ask for input and get very little back, but I started sharing what I was already planning and he will make suggestions based on my ideas. I think he just needs somewhere to start!

Yup! When I ask him what he wants to eat the following week he knows he has to give me at least two suggestions. We also grocery shop as a family.

He's more of a meal planner than I am! He's the more adventurous cook but is overall pickier than I am.

When I ask DH what he wants for dinner, he says "food". He always picks the same three meals so I use him when I need fillers after I've exhausted my more creative meals.

I used to ask D if he had any meal requests, and his answer was almost always "whatever" (ugh, I hate that word!)

So the past week or two I've specifically asked him to choose two meals for the week, either from my recipe binder, online, or something he just wants. It takes some pressure off of me to always think of things to make!
