He was also in charge of nighttime bottle feedings and I'd pump while he was feeding them. </p> <p>Now with two he is in charge of Wagon Jr.'s mornings-- getting him up, to the potty, change clothes, fed, and out the door for daycare. I pump and get ready for work while he's doing this. </p> <p>For bedtime we usually divide and conquer. I usually take LMW and he takes Wagon Jr. Some days he'll get LMW started with the bath and I'll take over for the bottle, and he'll do Wagon Jr.'s bedtime right after that. </p> <p>Post bedtime, we also divide and conquer. I usually wash dishes, bottles and pump parts while he packs Wagon Jr.'s lunch. </p> <p>We're all about teamwork! I don't think either one of us is idle while the other is working. Now at 18 months she STTN half the time, and needs some amount of snuggling up the other half. I'm sad that he's sleep deprived, but I'm glad in a way. </p> <p>When I was still nursing her overnight, I'd sometimes have to lay there, awake, for hours to do it. And it made me really miserable. He'd always go down and be with me while I nursed, but he'd just fall right back asleep. He thought he was just as sleep deprived as me, which really pissed me off, honestly. He's seeing what it's really like to have to be awake for long stretches sometimes (as opposed to waking but going right back to sleep), and I'm glad just for the sake of him understanding it.
