My uppababy vista barely crammed in to our old sedan trunk- but I put it in there all of three times maybe. I live in the city and never planned on it going in the trunk much anyway. We used a snap and go and car seat for a long time, then we got a mountain buggy nano for car trips and it takes up less space that two bags of groceries.

The ubv would fit fine in our suv trunk but it's still way bigger and heavier so I just keep the nano in the trunk.

My b-agile folds up pretty small. It fits comfortably in my DH's Saab's trunk with extra space.

You know, they should tell you when you're testing a stroller at Buy Buy Baby to try stuffing it in your trunk. I hated the awful realization that folding it, hauling it up into the SUV trunk, and then putting grocery bags in whatever space is left is not what the marketing makes it out to be! Plus I'm weird about leaving space to change diapers in the back.

Our Vista and Cruz don't fit well the way I like to put them facing front to back in my RX and there have been a few "door open" incidents, but they do fine going across. They're a tough fit though in my husband's CT!

Our city mini gt double fit fine in the trunk of my prius. Had extra room for groceries too.
We sold the stroller and my car last month, but if we still had the stroller, it would fit with plenty of room in my new car.

The BOB won't fit unless we take off a wheel, and the bumbleride does fit but we can't put anything else back there. It's a Nissan Versa hatchback.

Yeah the city mini double takes up most of the trunk space, although I can stack grocery bags on top if necessary. Basically we try to never drive with it and instead take two single strollers if we really need them.

Our Bugaboo cameleon can be a bit of a cram in small cars - it's a 2 piece fold, and you have to know the right way to stack them (nested) so it doesn't consume the whole trunk.

We had to briefly jam our double stroller into the trunk of a car yesterday, and it basically took up the entire trunk! It's a bit of a minor miracle it even fit in there... the stroller had maybe an inch of clearance on either side. In the future, we'll take another stroller if we're going to be in a car at some point.

It got me wondering if this was a common issue or not, especially with double strollers + larger strollers like City Minis. Does your stroller fit easily into the trunk of a car?
