When she first found it, she would hold onto the hand she was sucking on with her other hand. Now she pinches her neck while she sucks her thumb. If we're holding her, she will pinch our necks! I hate seeing the little red marks she leaves on herself but if it makes her happy....I'm not going to stop it. Does your thumb sucker have other soothing techniques they use while sucking their thumb?
