If it gets dirty (and it does) we just throw it in the wash, without the metal of course. He has been fine there at 16 months. I don't know if he still sits in a high chair at daycare or if he eats at the table with the other kids. I should ask that.</p> <p>I was thinking of getting a booster like the FP one that we can strap to one of our bar stools that are at the island. He's never used a highchair w/tray at home but does at the babysitter's and is fine. They are doing really well with it and it seems to be reducing the battles and food on the floor.
