@mediagirl: That's good to know. He ate a ton this weekend. During the weekends, we let him have goldfish, Cheerios, and bananas (which we have to limit because he could eat a bunch). In the middle of the week, he just gets his dinner, milk, and water. It felt like after nap, then a bit of play, all he wanted to do was eat.

She eats a lot some days, other days she eats very little. It definitely goes in spurts.

@bpcmarj: Good to hear that I'm not alone with a LO eating a ton. It felt like he was having a second breakfast, second lunch, etc; my little Hobbit. I'm hoping it's a growth spurt.

LO is 19 months old and literally asks for food all day long. It seems like she is CONSTANTLY eating. Though, I do think she recently had a growth spurt as I had to go buy her some new clothes.

Hahaha!! I'm sorry, I can't help with the toddler issue (I don't have one yet!) but I love your Hobbit analogy! When we give LO her 10am bottle, we call it second breakfast, Hobbit style!

Plus, this comment should bump your post back to the front page!

I don't know if my 15-16 month old toddler is having a growth spurt or not. This weekend, he's been so hungry like every couple of hours. He kept on eating and eating. It feels like he's a little Hobbit. Is this a growth spurt or are we being too lenient about eating with him?
