We have a kiddie pool in our backyard and a community pool that is close, and she wants to be in either of them each day! She is three years old and I can tell we will be spending a lot of time in the water this summer. Now she'll let us hold her while she practices swimming. The other thing that helps is a toy or two, cups are the biggest hit by far. I know people who just keep their swim bag stocked with solo cups because other kids always (accidentally) swiped her nicer cups and that way they always have a toy on hand. She loves it! She is 12-months and is happiest when she is in water.<br /> She loves floating (or swimming) in a big pool, splashing in a tiny kiddie pool, or even going waist-deep in the freezing cold water of the bay.
