She's in a crib so she can't get out of bed but she has been waking up a lot more lately. Usually a toy fell out of her bed and she wants it back or she has to potty. I wish there was an answer!

E did this once, and after that we started to close his door at night. He can open the door, he just doesn't. I'm not sure why, but I'm ok with that.

Every single night. It's usually because she wants to sleep with us or have me come to her room with her. We have a water bottle and a potty in her room in case she needs those things during the middle of the night (because she uses these as stalling tactics for bedtime).

This has been going on since we moved her to her room right before she turned 2 and she's almost 3. Haha.

E's still in a crib but if she wasn't, she would most certainly be able to get up, open the door, and walk to our room. And i'd probably put a feature on the door to keep her in. And use one of those red/green lights that lets her know she needs to stay in there. It just sounds like attention seeking behavior. At least, that's what i assume most everything is with E when it involves no other tangible reason for a wake up :)

Right now she has been waking up at midnight, 1am, 2am and we have no idea why. She will.not. go back to sleep in her crib so we dump her in our bed and go back to sleep. Bad habits...

Not yet. We leave a straw cup of water in her bed.

I hope it is a short phase for you!

Starting about a month ago my 2.5 year old has been getting out of bed a lot. The past two weeks it's been in the MOTN. She will come into my room and wake me up, but I haven't figured out why. She doesn't need to use the bathroom and isn't thirsty. I just bring her back in her room and tuck her in. Not a huge deal but not a fan of getting up with her 1-2 times a night and LO2 1-2 times a night.

Does your LO get out of bed in the MOTN? Any tips on getting her to stay in her bed all night unless she truly needs something or is this just a phase I'll have to stick out?
