Nope. We used to give her a bit of water at bedtime. But once we potty trained we stopped. But she has no issues with cool mist humidifier.

She only called for me once around 11 and it seemed like a bad dream - she slept til 730 and when I got her from bed, her cup was bone dry!

However, her diaper did leak - luckily just her Jammies were damp because they're fleece - no sheet changes. She's a heavy wetter as it is, never mind an extra 8 oz of water, lol.

I leave a cup or sippy on his nightstand. He's really good about putting everything (toys, books, sippy) on his nightstand before falling asleep, though.

Yes, either a playtex sippy cup or her camelback and it's definitely her security object, so don't think of putting her to bed without it!

Yes, every night. We use a NUK spill proof sippy but he's only 1.5 yrs. We've also used a Camelbak Eddy bottle in summer when he drinks even more. That has been leak proof so far as well.

Hope the water helps/ed tonight.

Our LO has a thermos bottle he keeps in his bed. I think it's also a security item for him now cuz if it's not there when he goes to bed, he asks for it. It has been really dry...

DD always sleeps with a cup of water and usually drinks about a third of it throughout the night. We use a camelbak (@oliviaoblivia: surprise, surprise, E's is purple too!) and haven't had too many incidents with the water spilling, nor do we generally have any issues with leaky nappies.

Sigh, we are *hopefully* broken of this habit, because we want to really focus on potty training in the next couple weeks. It is her go to for fighting sleep "I thirsty, I want water, I want milk, I need to potty, I need my blankie, no my other blankie, where's my water, it's all gone, ect." We had to put a stop to it!

My kids each sleep with a Nalgene grip-n-gulp water bottle. They are the only ones we have found don't leak when lying in their beds. They drink a ton of water right before bed and over night (way more than during the day!)

@autumnlove: Lol! Luckily her two thermos are same colors. She would suck an inch down in 2 seconds though :( her mother's daughter. This is on my nightstand - 56 oz Lol

Yup, every night! We have a Thermos straw cup thing with a close lid (is that similar to yours?) and she knows to shut it when she is done so it doesn't spill.

I put this under sleep because it has to do with our crappy night sleep lately! I'm assuming as a result of using the heat, the air is REALLY dry.

1) DD hates her humidifier. She is a creature of habit and routine and this is new (since last winter anyway).
2) it didn't make a difference the two nights I forced her to leave it in her room.

She is almost 26 months and has been STTN for over a yr.

lately she's been up 2-4x a night and won't settle (aka stop screaming or yelling) til I give her water, then she passes out. I'm thinking of leaving a cup in there tonight to try but I'm afraid of it tipping and spilling everywhere, and/or DD drinking the whole thing and leaking out Of her diaper. Haha.

If you give your toddler water in bed how does it go? We have two thermos foogo - I would use one of those.
