I stand at the cabinets and she hands me plates/whatever one at a time. His big things now are carrying his plate to the counter after meals which he has been doing well since 18 mos, and also putting his food scraps in the compost pail. Puts away her toys and her books.</p> <p>She wants to do the dishes so we usually put a big bowl with soapy water on the counter and let her wash utensils. (And then rewash!)</p> <p>Mostly she helps me with cooking--I no longer have to rip kale off of the stalks!
