I pull my kids in a bike trailer and they both love it. The four year old will sometimes take a book but rarely reads it. She seems to really enjoy just looking around and napping. The baby loves it too.

Most of the time by 16 month old likes it fine. She's used to it since I've been running with her a few times a week since she was 6 months. Bringing snacks and books helps a lot. I wouldn't take her much longer than 5 miles now. Usually we just do 30 minutes.

My kids (now 3 years old and 20 months old) hate all strollers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My kids love it! My 3 year old and 1 year old went in ours this morning for about an hour. If it's early enough in the morning, they look around and both are pretty quiet. I'll bring snacks and books if it's close to lunch or nap time though.

She gets bored. We've started doing a 20 minute jog (er.....walk) to this spot by the river. She gets out, we throw rocks for 5-10 min, and then head home.
She liked it until she was maybe 2? Since then it's been tough, and I have to entertain her a lot, which I just don't want to do when I run (er....walk).

DS loves it. When doing a half or longer, we start early. He usually falls back asleep, and sleeps for half of it. Then just looks around and snacks. We bring out IPad with, but only use it as a last resort. He loves going running with us.

Not that I run often, but she's never complained about being bored! Usually we chat back and forth. Like the time I was DYING pushing her up a STEEP hill and said yells out "why am I going slow? Hurrrrrrrry mama!" :silly:

At that age he was fine for the first mile, mile and a half but after that he was done. He would rather get out and walk than sit. Every kid is different though and you won't know until you try it!

I recently ran my first Half Marathon and I'd like to keep in decent running shape. I have a jogging stroller and I've taken my son in it a few times a few months ago when I started training.
I want to start taking him out on runs with me again, but I just have no sense of if he'll enjoy the time in the stroller. He's nearly 22 months and I worry that he'll be bored for 30 or 40 minutes in the stroller. But my husband assures me that it'll be stimulating for him and something fun for us to do together.
Do you run with your toddler? Do they like to go out with you? How do you know if they enjoy it?
Thank you!
