I instituted the "must hold hands with mama in public rule", which she mostly follows.</p> <p>When she is stressed or tired, she always needs to hold my hands. And at night when she sleeps she LOVES holding my hand. The only time he has ever willingly taken my hand is when he needed help climbing stairs! I am hoping this changes at some point, because I always think it is so cute when I see kids holding their parent's hands.</p> <p>I am wondering if this a common thing in toddlers? </p>
