@mrsjazz: How fun! You should tape record it one night and play it back to him. :)

@banana: Sleep talk is the best!! And yup, still have no idea who Stanley is :)

@mrsjazz: Wow, that is impressive and pretty crazy of your DH! I would be chatting with mine all the time while he was sleeping if he did that, haha.

@yerpie110: My DH talks in his sleep, too, almost every night. I like to play with him and I'll just say something to him while he's sleeping and he usually responds by saying whatever is going on in the dream. Hysterical. I think he definitely passed that on to LO.

@mrsjazz: LOL!! That is SO cute! My son (last night) said something like "Oh no! It's stuck! Look! It's stuck under the bridge!". I love hearing him talk to his sleep. haha

@yerpie110: Who's Stanley? hahaha. I literally cracked up when I read the "whoa, I thought you were a cat" part! OMG hilarious.

My LO doesn't talk yet, but DH talks in his sleep a lot and it cracks me up all the time. He can even have conversations with me relating to what he's sleep-talking about!! The other night he was talking about "Stanley" (we don't know anyone by that name), and just last night he turned to me and said "whoa, I thought you were a cat!" and continued sleeping, haha. He doesn't remember anything in the morning. I wonder if LO will follow suit!

Bumping this up. This weekend my LO had some pretty cute talking in her sleep moments. We co-sleep. On Saturday night she rolled over, opened her eyes, shoved her hands down my shirt, and said, "Boobies" and then went back to sleep. Last night, she was singing her ABCs in her sleep, but only sang the "HIJK" and then mumbled and was silent again.

She just started talking in her sleep about a month ago (16 months).

My son talks in his sleep all the time! He'll say random things like "I don't want apples. I want yogurt!". And then he'll wake up the next morning and ask for yogurt. It's pretty funny to hear his random conversations. But it's so loud at night. Sometimes he's screaming "That's mine! Don't take that!" and then he'll start laughing hysterically.

Does your LO talk in his/her sleep? When did it start?
