He doesn't seem to mind it because he has the mirror on the backseat and since he was about 6 months old he realized he can see us through the mirror too. That was before the AAP recommend rear facing until 2. But we don't own a car so Charlie only rides in one a couple times a year. Since he wasn't used to sitting in a car, he'd throw fits being strapped into the car seat. Facing forward helped a lot.</p> <p>Does your under 2 yo baby forward or rear face? </p>
