Yes, he seems to have a lot more scratches/cuts/etc now that he's more active.

She only occasionally has a scratch but mostly she is fine. I always put her in pants though to protect her legs

My son's legs are covered in bruises and scratches. He's just like his mom, he looks backwards when he's walking and bumps into stuff. Just the other day, he fell in the yard and literally did a log roll, which was hilarious until I realized he busted up his knee. I had to take him to the ped and I was worried she would report me for abuse, but she just laughed and said it's a sign of an active kid.

My DS has scratches and bruises all over his legs.. He is almost two though and has been walking since 11 mo. It's not something that bothers me because I know he plays rough. I expect a report from day care for biting or a head bump or a bad scrape but small scratches I chalk up to rough and tumble play. I think it's definitely reasonable to ask day care to keep an extra sharp eye on her. Not sure about a report for every scratch though, but if they are willing to do that I guess?

Ever since LO started walking we've noticed that she's coming home with random bruises and scratches. At first I was pretty chill about it bc she's just learning so there are bound to be falls.

But it's starting to get a little ridic, I think. She currently has two scratches on her legs and another on her arm. It's not like she's a new walker; she's been walking good for a month and a half.

I just feel like they should be keeping a better eye on her or at least writing up a report when this happens. Or at the very least letting us know at pick up.

I'm planning to call and talk to the director.

What do you think? Am I being unreasonable? Does your walker come home with a lot of scratches and bruises?
