I had a vacation day on Monday and then DS ended up getting a fever last night so I had to take today and tomorrow off. Hubs overheard one of my managers telling another one that if she wants time off, take it while I'm here pre-maternity leave, because she knows my schedule won't be flexible afterwards. They've given Hubs full leeway with his schedule. I had to take a week off after only being there for a month because DD was sick and they didn't say anything. But then I changed to WAH so I don't really have to bother them anymore. I've been out a lot after my maternity leave and they haven't said a word. I actually said something to the owner the other day and he just brushed me off and said, "You have a family now, you have to do what is best for you first, then the company." I love that!</p> <p>Does your company understand family time is important? Do they understand when you're sick or out "sick" because your lo is sick? </p>
