My LO also rubs his head into the crib mattress while falling asleep! So funny that so many other babies do that too.

Yup. I'm surprised it's still there, because she really spent hardly any time on her back early on (given that she never slept laying down!) and she has been sleeping on her tummy for over a month.

She does the rubbing her head back and forth thing before falling asleep, but since she sleeps on her tummy, she's rubbing her face on the sheet. Her little nose is so red and dry. I put Aquaphor on it, but it doesn't seem to help much. :(

Yup, she did. It started to fill in around 8-9 months, and now at 12 months, it's completely covered.

She did and it only started filling it once she stopped rolling onto her back and staying there, around month 5. I don't even notice it anymore, now that she's almost 10 months old

Yes, still at almost 8 months! She's a back sleeper and like some PP she shakes her head when falling back to sleep so she keeps rubbing it all off. I hope her hair fills in soon.

@Sapphiresun: aww that's so cute!

I'm glad people are saying their LO's patch started to fill in around 7/8 months. I guess we don't have too much longer to wait, though it does feel like it's getting worse and spreading around the sides of her head at the moment!

Yep. She doesn't have much hair to begin with, but that spot is definitely balder than the rest.

She only likes to be held facing OUT, so DH says it's there for him to have a spot to kiss.

B has the funniest bald spot. She "shakes" her head no when she's falling asleep.. so her bald spot kinda wraps around one side. It's pretty bad but I laugh when I see it on videos of her. In the last few weeks her hair has grown a lot so it's starting to get covered when I brush her hair down. ( she's 6 months )

If so, when did it fill in? LO has so much hair, but then he has this big bald spot in the back! He's finally starting to get some peach fuzz back there at 7 months.
