We aren't Korean, and my husband's culture has a "ceremony" at age 1, where one of the activities is to lay out certain objects in a fan shape in front of the baby. I would love to do this at his party, but we are not Korean. Would it be insensitive/in poor taste of us to incorporate this into the day? </p>
