@pui: I'm 8 months pregnant now and haven't had a period since August 2010
But I'm saying when I got the false positive pregnancy test I wasnt pregnant then and there was no way it could have been a chemical pregnancy since AF did not return afterwards (ie no bleeding that could be confused with a miscarriage). I didn't end up pregnant with #2 until 4-5 months later so for me there was no question that these were faulty tests.

@Maysprout: To be fair it is possible to be pregnant even if you didn't get AF back after your first pregnancy yet. Happened to my mom between myself and my sister. :) That said, those blue dye tests were probably just faulty. Ive heard often that they can give false positives.

@mrskoloa: I got 2 false pos from blue line tests - they were bought as a pair. I read them within the timeframe too. My dollar store tests were still neg so I thought that they just weren't as sensitive. But I def wasn't pregnant - I hadn't even gotten af back from lo1 so not a chemical pregnancy.

@mrskoloa: blue line tests can sometimes give you evap lines-false positives that show after you're outside of the window where a real positive line would show up. :(

They work fine. I got a faint positive at 13 DPO then used a frer at 14 DPO. That one ended in a mc.

When I had a twin pregnancy the pregnant line came up before the control line at 14 DPO.
