Keep in mind a lot of contagious people don't even know they're sick because of the incubation period for colds and flu.</p> <p>I also don't really like when hosts tell me what to do. A good friend of mine did this! She sat next to me at a kid's birthday party sick. She's also really busy with work and probably just used to just trucking on. She had full-blown flu symptoms not that long after (not at the party).
