Any time I see anyone comes near us I offer the sanitizer lol...</p> <p>However, sometimes they are just too quick- so I would wipe LO's hands... sometimes they touch his head! I hate that too... The worst offender I've ever had the displeasure od dealing with happened while I was changing DS1's diaper.</p> <p> He was about six months old and I was changing a poopy diaper in the Target restroom. Another shopper flushed the toliet, came out of the stall, and put her hands on DS1's face!! I could see her hands were dirty, but so were mine, so I couldn't move them away. I was so stunned I think I just stammered "I'm changing him...". I cannot believe how rude and disgusting it was! She never washed her hands either...</p> <p>Oh, another gem. I was sitting in the waiting room at my doctor's office while both boys were in the stroller. DS2 was getting fussy as an elderly woman was walking past. She coughed into her hands, then started talking to DS2, and reached in to put his paci in his mouth. I, luckily, grabbed it from her and told her 'thank you.'. Her younger daughter apparently thought I was rude, and told me that she didn't touch his mouth,but I don't care! You know what really helped us avoid unwanted touching? (and I apologize for not knowing the age of your baby) Babywearing. Having our daughter in the Ergo or Loveyduds prevented others from invading my personal space to get to her. My friends really noticed a difference in how much my daughter was touched as compared to their children. It was because other adults were so much less likely to invade my space.
