I have the bob single and ended up getting a mountain buggy double jogger on craigslist. As it turns out my newborn doesnt like the stroller basinet, so at least for now we use the single way more!

@HLK208: @Mrs. High Heels: thank you ladies! It'd be so nice to have one less baby gear item around, but if we really use both then I think we'll keep it for sure!

@Mrs. Deer: We got rid of our single (not a BOB) and regret it! We make do with only the double BOB now and I'm not a SAHM so I mainly use strollers on weekends so it isn't a huge deal most of the time. I realized that eventually DD will grow out of a stroller sooner than DS, and we'll need a single when that time comes.

Sometimes it's nice to have a single stroller if one of them is home sick while the other is in daycare too... so I could run errands with just one kid. So yea, keep your single - there will be opportunities to use it!

We love our double and single! We need both though. Some days I babywear and push the single because it's the only way to keep both happy. Once my middle child outgrows the double, we'll be back to using the single (it's lighter and narrower). Crazy to think once my youngest outgrows the single BOB, it'll be 9 years old (bought in 2009 and will probably use it for 3-4 more years)!!

@Beebug: good to know! Yeah I think it'd be nice to maybe have both. Would hate to get rid of the single and regret it.

Own both and am glad we kept the single!

I run errands with the single and wear the kid who isn't riding in the seat (or DD rides on the nose).

Double goes on 2x daily walks, soon to add in a run. It's big, but I love it!

We're thinking about getting a double BOB stroller (currently have a single and use it a lot). If you have a double BOB, do you like it? And did you keep your single stroller or sell it? We have someone potentially wanting to purchase our single one, it'd be great to put the money towards a double but maybe we should keep it around? Not sure...

Thank you! :)
