I'm pretty sure we are getting the Britax B-ready. looks great for a toddler-newborn combo... 14!! different seat configurations which is amazing for a single/double.

Mrs Bee is right though... it really depends on what features are important to you and your family. go to a local store and test out your options though. that's the only real way to see if a stroller works for you.

You also may buy some time while the newborn is small. we currently get around with newborn in a carrier while toddler is in stroller. Or, newborn is in stroller and toddler stands on a buggy board.

Good luck and congrats!

i did a ton of research on double strollers. for now i'll just wear olive in a sling and use a stroller for charlie, but i think we'll have to get a double stroller soon.

it really depends where you live and how you're going to use it. i wanted to get the britax b ready, but it was too wide to fit thru our building's front door.

http://www.britaxusa.com/strollers/b-ready

it's lighter and cheaper than the city select without compromising all the different configurations both offer.

phil and teds is the most popular around these parts because it is narrow enough to fit through most doorways. i think it's the least comfy/versatile of the double strollers out there, but it's the one we may have to get because it's the only one that fits thru our front door!

for side by side strollers, i like the city select. it folds up easy and though it's wide, if you live in the burbs, it should be fine.

for now it looks like a phil and teds is in our future... alas that's my last choice!

I went with the baby jogger city select with a second seat. I love the stroller. It is heavy and bulky but I definitely prefer it to a side by side. It's easy to steer even one handed and love the large canopy and storage basket. The seats fully recline for a new born and the maxi cosi infant seat I had from my first just snapped in. I also liked that it has on option for a standing board. My kids are 20 months apart.
