My children go to an all German speaking daycare. My son is truly trilingual at this point and it's really amazing to see. I went from age 4 - 17 and it was absolute torture! I speak Greek in front of her, she uses some Greek words instead of English and I think thats fine. I get slammed by people all the time as to why I wouldn't take her to Greek school, and the argument tends to be "how will she know how to speak Greek when she goes on holiday in Greece?". I speak Canto to him now. He'll learn Mandarin in Chinese school. However, I tend to mix dialects in when teaching DS a word. I recently accidentally taught DS to say bird in Hokkien instead of Canto.
