We went to the doc this morning and he said it looks like hand foot and mouth. And he is at a stage where it is no longer contagious. It will go away in a few days. Phew! It doesn't sound like it's that from your description, but it looks like it. LO had it once and looks very similar. When I saw the wrist picture the first thing that came to mind was a staph infection. He had a fever over the weekend, which went away within 2 days, and now the rash got significantly a lot worse. DS says it hurts but it doesn't itch. I am not sure if the fever has to do with it but I wanted to hear your thoughts. What do you think this is, and is there a topical cream I can put it on him or should we go in for an appointment? </p> <p>FYI I have been putting hydrocortisone on him before and it got better but since the fever the rash got worse when I put that on. I don't dare to put anything on it now.</p> <p>I emailed our doctor and he said it looked like a bug bite to me... but it was developing from a pre-existing rash. And then I notice it seems to have spread a bit. I see one dot on his elbow, and one small dot on his chin. Does this look like bed bugs to you?
