I wouldn't be confident in calling it that unless you or your child also had some leisons in the mouth (usually not in the front but towards the back).</p> <p>Symptoms can range from quite mild to complete refusal to eat or drink... so it's hard to know if your LO had it. Bad eczema flares are usually triggered by something (viral or otherwise). It's super common among children. They go away pretty quickly for me, I just always figured it was from the heat because it's always summertime. It's mostly not noticeable, except it hurts to put pressure on it. Then later in the day, I felt what was the beginning of another bump on a totally different finger, also painful to put pressure on it. By the end of the day, all my fingers felt painful and even my toes and heel of my foot hurt. It hurt to walk around!</p> <p>This morning, I can see that my fingers (mostly on the sides of them, but some of the inside and outside) are covered in very tiny red bumps that hurt when I press on them! The same with my toes! WTF is this???? </p>
